Dmitra was a Ukrainian noblewoman who loved education. Philosophy, history, science were all very valuable to her and she was a big donor to the local university.
She came across an intelligent student named Carlak. Carlark was attending Charles University against the wishes of his rich father. He would have been forcibly returned to his father’s estate if not for Dmitra’s intervention. Eventually Dmitra invited Carlak to her home where she embraced him.
The two shared a close relationship for 10 years, traveling around Europe. Dmitra taught Carlak to hone his mind, expand his experiences and never put limits on himself.
Dmitra saw unlife as an adventure of epic proportions. One night she’d attend a Brujah debate on the nature of God, the next night she’d hunt kine and drain them of all their blood.
Dmitra served as the Brujah Justicar from 1920-1972. The Inner Circle gave her the duty to watch over unrest in Europe. She appointed Carlak as one of her archons and assigned him to monitor the situation in the newly formed Soviet Union.
In 1972 the Inner Circle appointed Carlak to replace Dmitra as the clan’s justicar. Dmitra saw this as a betrayal by her childe and the two have not been on good relations since.
