Big News!!!
For the first time since 2004 the Charlotte VTES Club will be hosting an official tournament! Two rounds and a Final with prizes for all participants.
After the tournament ends, we’ll all enjoy a nice post-tournament dinner at one of the fine restaurants next door.
When: Saturday, July 16, 2011
Location: Above Board Games - 985 Market Street, Suite 103, Fort Mill, South Carolina 29708
Time: Registration will begin at 12:30pm with a start time set at 1:00pm. So please arrive before 1pm.
Fee: $6.00 entry free
Format: Standard 2 Rounds and a Final. Two hour time limit per round. If less than 8 players enter the tournament, we will use the multi-deck (multi-judge) format for each round, while I scold the attendees for not bringing more friends.
How are you doing for RSVPs?
Potentially a long drive in my near future if the number of attendees is right…. (i.e. 9+ without me)
Right now I have 5 confirmed RSVPs. I really do not know if we’ll make it to 10. There are a lot of people who said “Well, I might come, maybe if I’m free” etc.
